Katie in Korea

So about a day later after speaking with "D" and getting nowhere I decided to go on waygook to see job listings. I saw a ton of recruites that sounded legit and decided to contact two of them, one being Reach to Teach and another Korean Horizons. 

I had a quick response from Reach to Teach and the following day was assigned to Paul Kang.... Because of past expirences with a bad recruiter I decided to do a little research on him. Of course once again I was assigned to a terrible one. I had found one particular review about him where the review said he was nothing but a pushy recruiter. Now while I did use him at first he did not seem pushy to me, but he did not seem interested in helping me. He also was calling me by another name. Katie Leverman is the name he was calling me, along with saying that I told him I wanted to start next year, which I never stated. Thankfully at this point Alistair contacted me from Korean Horizons. 

 

I will forever be greatful to to Alistair from Korean Horizons! Since day one he has helped me more than any other recruiter I have worked with. 

 

So if you are interested in applying to teach here in South Korea I would definitely check them out. Keep in mind that they only deal with placing teachers in public schools.
